Cheryl Jones is reading Mean Streak
Sandra Brown is an excellent thriller mystery writer with storues that include interesting, engaging characters and romance, all of which I enjoy. My only complaint is that I can't put her books down, and either lose sleep or don't get much done.

Cheryl Jones is starting The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom
Started out interesting and then just didn't make sense to me - I did not agree with,it's tenets. I will not finish it.

Cheryl Jones is on page 488 of 1463 of Les Misérables
Actually my kindle says I'm on pg 488 of 949- different numbering. Still amazed at the writing and enjoying learning more details of the complex, genius plot than told in the movies and play. Reading it slowly because sometimes I want to read something that I don't know the plot of.

I love the musical and the dramatic movie based on this book. I have seen both often and own the DVD of each. Even so, I very much enjoy reading the actual book- it fills in gals in the plots of the two productions , teaches me history, transports me as in a time machine to vicariously live in that era, increases my vocabulary on every page, and stimulates reflection many political and social issues of that day.

Cheryl Jones is reading Mudhouse Sabbath
I finished chapters 1&2 - one is about why to observe the Sabbath all day - sounds so appealing to relax, not think about work, communicate with God, only do charitable work in Sunday. I woyld have to really reorganize my life to tAnd 2nd chapter is about honoring God by eating "mindfully" . Her way , now that she is Christian , is to eat seasonal food only. Can't say I agree with that. I'd have to find another way.

Cheryl Jones is finished with Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman
I've read about 85% of this book. It is very interesting- biographical history written in narrative form with research background inserted at the points I'm asking questions. I've learned about Voltaire , Diderot , various monarchs and other artists and intellectuals of her time period. I also have better understanding of Russia's historical development especially political.
