Oh God, I'm a little bit nervous about the last short story.....

I think I have the pages all wrong.

But man, this short story was a funky one.

Done with the first story. It was alright, I kinda liked the ending, but I don't think it needed to be 50+ pages long. I feel like it could have been summarized in half that amount.

Still, I do like the concept tho, very unique.

Do not ask me what I just read, cause I don't know. And I rarely ever just skim through chapters.

This whole chapter could have been summarized in like, 5 pages.

Half of it was just listing (probably) not important characters and their stories involving characters and locations you don't know about, so it doesn't even matter.

These are some rookie writer mistakes, man!

Also, I love this book so much. I was worried I wouldn't be able to understand jack, but it's not that hard to follow surprisingly. There are some words that I gotta check, but it's not that bad, most of them are just different ways to refer to the Greeks.

Also, Zeus is apparently abusive on top of everything???? How could he get even worse....

Also, it's bothering me that I can't find the version of the book I have on here, cause mine has 700 pages, and this one has 1000.

Anyway, this book is so good. I was worried I wouldn't understand anything, and there are some words that I don't get, but I get the gist.
I love that there is so much stuff about the gods.

Also, Zeus just got even worse????? Didn't know that was possible

Okay, I didn't really expect that plot twist with Cooper. Well, I half expected it, but I didn't expect the second half

I missed some slow burn romance. I should have more of those in my stories........

Sooo, both of their secrets are that they cheated on their partner? Well, Cooper is still cheating, maybe?? And I'm assuming that there is gonna be a plot twist that Addy is pregnant but doesn't know whose baby it is?

Anyway, this story was okay. Nothing particular about it, either bad or good.

I do gotta say that I did like that for once instead of the client explaining the situation, we found out about it differently, even if it was just by newspaper.

So, as intriguing as the the title was for this one with the whole thumb thing and as good as the build up was, I feel like I read nothing.

It feels like Doyle started writing this story, but got bored midway and just wrapped it up out of nowhere..

No resolution, no plot twists, no badass Sherlock, it just felt... empty and rushed?
