I really like this so far and I think it’s so interesting!! The only thing that is so irritating to me is that the main character is supposed to be kinda dumb and naive, but the author is using very intelligent language for her internal monologue. It is creating a disconnect between who you’re experiencing the Compound as and who the author wants Lily to be? If that makes sense.
