According to my Kindle, I'm 50% through and I love it when stories take off at the halfway mark. It's like the doorbell from Parasite - shit's about to get real.

Loving it.

I've got a few long drives ahead of me. I will be finishing it this weekend. That's for sure.

The goodread reviews are getting me through this cringey unfurling of events. It's the perfect palate cleanser to feed my guilty pleasure.

Back in my re-set phase with a romance novel. I hate it already, but that's just my programming! It's so cheesy.

Wow, this is so different than the book. Little mention of Cressida Cowper, the Featheringtons, Lady Danbury. I like being entrenched in Simon and Daphne's story though!

Okay, this is so much better than the tv show. You get more of their underlying feelings instead of trying to figure out what a gaze holds. I'm swooning.

This one's an audiobook so no page specific updates, just guesses.

Also, I love this tv show ironically so it's on at work as a background book, but I'm counting it!
