10/10 book club read thus far - wow the writing is so painstakingly beautiful

if you’re thinking about reading this book I would highly advise against it.

This book is fascinating thus far. If you’re a mom and/or someone interested in the behind the scenes of social media influencing - consider this read!

Some people might find the 17 different voices the one narrator is able to depict in this audiobook impressive. I however do not and find it quite frightening. Is this a ripoff of The Clue game/movie? So far I’m entirely unimpressed.

mustering up all my Monday morning courage to say I jumped ship 25% of the way through. hate to judge a book by such a minute portion, but if this book was meant to serve as an empirically reviewed resource on a psych dissertation, it served its purpose. if it was the intent to expand an “average at best” individuals understanding of trauma, the message was lost in the jargon—IMO.
