started off by diving head first but then got kinda slow… anticipation is elle kennedy’s specialty

anyway, eating the smut scenes up after reading classics for a while

started this novel about 6 years ago for a paper i never ended up writing— finally dusted it off and will read it all the way through!

the build up of telling each other their true feelings plus the sexual tension… MWAH 🤌 delicious

i am so glad i’m reading this book before seeing the movie. i am enthralled by all of these wild plot lines— i’m convinced catherine has borderline personality disorder 🧐

i LOVE emily brönte’s writing— enjoying the readability of this novel much more than i did charlotte brönte’s jayne eyre

i think cathy is growing on me? she is a terrible brat so far and i don’t know how to feel 🧐

restarting this for the third time… i’ve wanted to read this for so long but have set it down so many times and can’t remeber the plot! will make for a great surprise as i finally read it cover to cover— if school keeps me from finishing it, it will become my first post grad read. IM COMMITTED

too little time in the night to sleep and read!!! mg body is SCREAMING for a night of sleep that is longer than 5 hours, so the reading is on hold again

kind of reaching a lull in the book, need to get back into reading nightly again! i’ve been staying up too late recently and need sleep over reading at the moment 🥲

the plotting and menacing going on is delicious. fingers crossed for a Lucien;Feyre alliance 😋
