Enjoying the novel's multiple layers within and the generational history of its core family. As typical from Margaret Atwood, the writing is alluring.

Second read through after many years. I think my head was spinning the first time around. Such a great book, so many layers. So rich with religious and political intrigue, language and gender complexities, AI personalities.

Just now starting to grasp what the hell is going on. A bit confusing but I imagine it’ll start to come together.

Wow! All I can say is Wow.

5 stars for the novella The Dragon Masters written in 1962

Classic King story. Enjoying this one. Similar vibe, length, and small-townness to Under the Dome.

Long and slow build-up and still a ways to go. Not one of my SK favorites it seems but I will plow on.

Slow and steadily moving forward; curious as to where this is going.

I wanted to jump back in to Duma Key for a third go round. Such a great ghost story that takes place in the Keys adding to the atmosphere (plus an ode to Jimmy Buffett no less!!)

I’ve been reading so much other stuff these days…it’s time to get back to the King. Don’t remember reading this in my youthful SK days so I’m jumping in and looking forward to it!
