I can already tell this book is going to be unbelievably depressing. It’s stressing me out.

Something about Ava Reid’s penmanship is captivating. Her use of metaphors and similes in this book and its predecessor should be used in school as the textbook way to use them. Just beautiful writing.

Every time i think, “surely Brandon Sanderson isn’t actually THAT good of an author. he was just one of the first i read so that’s why i love his books”, then i pick up another book of his and am blown away by his sheer talent. The ability to craft intricate worlds in as little as 50 pages. . . speechless.

As much as i love the cosmere, this is a much better collection than the arcanum unbounded

I think we need a special way to log fanfic. once it reaches 230,000 words i think it qualifies as a self published book.

I think this book doesn’t have a clear enough goal yet. Things are happening but i’m not entirely sure why they’re happening.

I’m hoping this story gets a little faster paced with a clearer goal the characters are working towards or i will probably not like this book that much. Which is a major disappointment since i loved the first 2.

It's crazy how a book can have the opposite of a sanderlanche. It's like the book gets slower and more boring the longer it goes on. I can name like 3 or 4 actual things that have happened in this book how is it more than 400 pages long.

Absolutely fantastic Avatar book. By far the best I’ve read. Finally not a story about a previous avatar. Even set during the 100 year war and during the show. we get some adorable zuko cameos. This was written as a love letter directly to my little Avatar obsessed heart. I hope it can stay consistent but with where it’s going I expect it will.
