Man, I think I'm in love with the writing in this.

DNF wayyyy to slow

Neat concept but probably my least favorite Chuck Tingle so far.

This is intriguing but also too much philosophy for me to handle in one sitting.

Everytime I think about how I've continued to slow through this series, I get a quote like this and remember why its so damn good:

"So where they should have seen a living being, they saw only another thing to exploit. Where they should have asked, or left alone, they raped.... So for every iota of life siphoned from beneath the Earth's skin, the Earth dragged a million human remnants into its heart."

I love this series but I always forget how unintelligent it also makes me feel 😂

This is so far outside of what I normally read but I think it's also exactly what I need right now.

Well this was the perfect book to bring while car was serviced....looks like im finishing this way faster than expected.

There are definitely a few uncomfortable to read scenes but dang this is written well otherwise.

Genuinely impressed I'm still reading this.

Okay, I'll give it that the first gorey scene was very viscerally written. Otherwise I still hate everything. If this is meant to make me this mad, then its doing its job.

Wow, the people that talk about how rough this is are not kidding. Barely into it and only pushing on for the FOMO.

I don't care if everyone is supposed to be unlikable and its supposed to be satirical, the sheer amount of dehumanization/discrimination of multiple minority groups is extremely difficult to read.
