This plot is just so absurd and cynical and funny? I’m really enjoying it and find myself excited to read more, even though it’s a bit dense

The story is good but the actual writing/text is just super bulky and wordy. Like literally an entire page of text without dialogue or paragraphs so this may take a while

So far, so good. I like the narrator’s all-knowing and very sarcastic perspective. I will say though, this book may give me trouble because there aren’t consistent chapters. For instance, the next section isn’t until page 164. Anyways! Happy to be reading a new book :)

The narration is so casual and the plot is strange but I’m actually really enjoying this book. There are lots of noteworthy quotes that I find myself underlining. We persist!

Kinda wish the chapters were longer than 3-4 pages, it feels very start and stop. Otherwise I like the plot so far and am excited for the action to pick up.

Might fuck around and finish this tomorrow since I’m flying from Canada to Philly 🧐

Obv not very far into this but I love that it’s based in Philly and the author is actually from Philly! She’s describing the neighborhoods perfectly and I even appreciate the familiarity of the last names that you so commonly hear - Fitzpatrick, Lafferty, Ahearn, etc. I’m excited to read more!

Okay this book is really cool so far. No chapters, total stream of consciousness, but it’s captured my attention!
