I'd like to thank you all for minding your business and ignoring the fact that I've started 4 different books in the past 2 weeks (and haven't finished any yet). This one might be a winner. It's the perfect palette cleanser after the heaviness (and delight) that is ACOTAR. This one seems fun, so we'll see :)

havin' a decent time with this book

Utterly enamored by this book and plot line. It's always the guilty pleasure rom-com books that pull me out of a multi-month-long reading slump. 😅

10/8: I am a bit sad to know I'm trudging through my first real classic, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy it. I'm already a bit sluggish with my modern books, so I guess it only makes sense I'm even slower with a book from the early 1800s. I also can't decide if my previous viewing of Clueless has helped or hindered this whole process. Guess I'll find out with my next classic (and there will be a next classic :)).
