this book asks the question of “what if the horrors and cruelty inflicted upon poc and impoverished communities was inflicted upon white people with different eye colors; IN SPACE!!” this feels like he slapped a bunch of books together and called it a day. bad characterization, bad writing, no subtlety, and bad pacing. it’s getting a little fun half way through though so maybe there’s hope…
