This book is so pretty and everything is described so wonderfully. Even a depressed 26 yo Swedish man worrying about his parents is so fun to read. You can straight up see everything happening, the author describes everything in such nice detail.

Pretty interesting. It’s a very nice pseudo slice of life from 1915(?) Japan. I really hope sensei starts feeling better about life but I doubt it will happen. It’s nice that him and the narrator get along, even if he has no hope in humanity there are people he can spend time with.
