I do feel I made a mistake by reading this via audiobook.
The narrator isn't bad by any means (his voice is oddly soothing?)

But I feel like I'm not experiencing the weirdness correctly lol

I am getting VERY curious about how this is going to end.

I do like the set up of this book. Following the three different POVs that take place during different eras has been really interesting.

But... I have yet to really get attached to anyone.
I just keep thinking "Maria is craaaazy" lol

I hope this book doesn't make me feel as dumb as Addie LaRue did

The setting is just so beautiful.

Idk if this is a Mulan retelling, but honestly, would hit as one.
