I love this! It's so cute, the romance is good, and I love how the characters have something going on aside from romance. I also love the old detective thing going on, made me nostalgic sitting watching the shows with my mom!

It started out nice but I'm kinda losing steam here. For someone who supposedly grew up in this rich people, idol world, Sori certainly didn't use her head before acting all the time. Or used too much and ended up flip flopping between her decisions

Ok apparently I'm done with the main story and it took me by surprise bc the book is 500+ pages long. I'd say it's so angst and doomed I LOVE it!! 5 stars for the main story

Ok this is good so far- the fmc is so feisty and lively, I love her quips! I also really like Pei Zhao so far... let's hope he survives...

I just finished the translator note and she does such a fantastic job in grounding the story theme to the historical narrative and the themes of power, I'm already hooked. I hope the rest of this book is as good as her note.

There is a lot of rehearsing her speech, meandering explanations, and clearly, unecessary blame to the pro Palestinians (Gaza protestors, as she called it). No acknowledgement on the other issue that she lost (economy & immigration being the clearer examples), as if the pro Palestinians single handedly cause her loss.

And if they did, what does it say about her research on her base?
