This is the book (audiobook) that never ends. I feel like when Authors reach writing Chapter 100, it should trigger a moment of self reflection. Are all these words absolutely necessary or am I dragging this out to test readers commitment. Cause fuck me. I just want it to end, so I can mark it as read and move on with my life. Even at 2x speed, it just won't end...

I don't think I've come across a book where, 'We'll discuss this later" or "we have much to discuss" is used so often it becomes irritating.. because in fact it was not discussed, they went to bed instead or bickered and avoided. There's so much miscommunication happening and "We'll discuss this later's" happening, that nothing is happening and the plot isn't progressing. I'm getting frustrated.

So far there's been a lot of screaming and crying and tantrums over chocolate and doughnuts.... Hopefully it gets better soon, it's getting tedious...

When you spend 60% of the book falling in love with the charming Alpha, but he's blonde and not the King. Yet there's a tall, dark-haired, mysterious side character, that everyone's afraid of, who's starting to suspiciously tick all the boxes for traumatised, broken, fantasy boyfriend material. The book cover has a black wolf on the front to... I should prepare myself for either trauma or the Tamlin effect, yeah?

The first 60% of this book was fantastic and well paced. The last 40% has taken me 10 years to trudge through...

Maybe I need a break from enemies to lovers after this, cause this is annoying as fuck. The FMC is a hellcat that in my mind is just a petulant child all the time, that stomps her feet and crosses her arms to look fierce. I get it it's a trauma response, but if you took a shot of tequila every time the words "hate and angry" are used so far in this book, I'd be dead.

Seriously, stop it Emily.. now I'm over here crying over sheep dog herding videos. The things you come up with to make these people tug at the heart strings... I'd adopt a lonely Novy any day.. 😭

I was influenced to read this.. I'm 3 pages in and a 22 year old woman calls her parents Mummy and Daddy in every reference to them.. what the actual fuck?? I have instant ick and want to put it down.. Will push through for now, like a god damned smut queen... pray for me..

I'm 33% in and so far there's been a lot of .... Words.. but not a lot of action. I've skim read a lot of it seeking any interaction between the orc and the couple that are supposed to become a thruple. So far he's smiled at them twice and blushed a bit... at 33%. It's been a slow start, given the high star rating I'm hoping it gets better.

At some stage you realise your magic number of acceptable "fated mates" in a why choose, mine is 5. This chick's been at school for 48 hours and has seven dudes lighting up her lady bits with at least one more on the horizon as there's no way she's not going to get hot over the all powerful 150 year old dragon shifter principle when they finally meet. It's too many, I need an excel spreadsheet. Send help.

I was in a mood for filth. This has been on my TBR for ages, as a save for a filthy day read.. WTF booktok? At 69% we haven't progressed past fingers, tongues and the butt of a knife.. I didn't come for a weird hand maids tale. I came for smut and it's not smutting..

I'm currently arc reading this and loving it! All I knew going in was that it's a forbidden romance between singing coach/teacher and vocalist.

First impressions. The cover. I got excited, it was giving me phantom of the opera vibes...

Then reading it. It calls my musical theatre heart, this would make a great movie so that we could experience them singing!! But then they'd PG the spice and that would make me sad.

I'm sure this is going to be as great as the first one but I'm needing to take a breather after the pee play scene cause that's a hard limit for me and I need a minute to recover lol...

I'm listening to this on audiobook and I'm in struggle town. The female narrator makes all the men sound like a whiney 12 year old so it's so hard to picture them as sexy men.

Gliden's character is so flat I could not give two shits about her. And her coy virgin act and harping on about Killian giving her more time before taking her V card has annoyed me to the point that if they don't bang shortly I'm out.
