The feelings that this book invokes are similar to when I listened to A Boy Called IT. A lifetime of pain and abuse leads to a thoughtful life where you can appreciate what you have. But the feelings of sadness are hard to ignore.

Not my normal book. I have no idea how I heard about this one. It is a recently written book (2024) and it isn't even a murder mystery... It is written simply, the characters are easy to follow but just not my normal cup of tea.
