Can we ever have similar age relationships in historical FICTION?! For the love of god it just ruins it when a “naive but different than other girls her age at 18” and a “30+ grumpy, alcoholic man that is in love with this barely legal old soul” start a relationship. Uuuuuuugggghhhhhhhh. The rest of this book is interesting but god its so annoying and gross.
