It was slow paced but we’re getting somewhere now. Poor Helena’s going through it throughout this whole book, I feel sick on her behalf 😞

This book is great when i comes to world building and characters but it’s really slow paced 😭

“You know,” Ferron said, jolting her from her thoughts, “when I heard it was you I’d be getting, I was looking forward to breaking you.”
He shook his head. “But I don’t think it’s possible to exceed what you’ve done to yourself.”

Ouch? 😭

Comparing yourself to the ideal image you’ve painted of someone else and can’t help but feel inferior is the worst kind of insecurity.

That’s one looooong book 😂

I sadly have to pause it to finish the other series 😓 but I’ll be back right away

It’s been taking me long since I’ve been crawling my way through finals week 😂 also how the hell do you pronounce Passepartout or whatever his name is? 😭

I’m enjoying this book a lot so far. My favorite character is Grand, who’s basically too anxious to find the words to communicate his thoughts the right way. He attempts to write a book but keeps criticizing everything he writes and keeps redoing the same phrases till it ‘hit his tempo’. Honestly, I see myself in him, and hope nothing bad happens to him 🥲🥲

This is the most boring book ever 😭 I can’t wait to finish it
