i keep starting romance novels because demon copperhead is so depressing and i don’t want to read it before bed

everytime i picture the Illyrian’s flying i picture the flying monkeys from wicked

it’s crazy how freaking similar this book is to game of thrones. the “impenetrable” wall, the people south of the wall accepting the people north of the wall to fight a common threat, city names (velaris vs. volantis? i mean cmon), rhysand just reminds me of a nicer, hotter lord bailish, feyre is prob closest to denaerys (reborn/coming out of the flames). like has anyone done in depth research into this?????
