Eerily intriguing! Am I crazy for having empathy for both the chronically ill mother and the 7 yr old daughter who so much wants to see Mommy dead? #badseed

This book is amazing as I knew it would be. I just wish Koontz would stop having Jane use magic chloroform that immediately incapacitates whoever she uses it on. If another author made the mistake of assuming it works immediately (I read an article about things movies get wrong and learned that about chloroform, for the record)I wouldn’t be bothered, but Koontz researches the hell out of the content he writes about.

Jane Hawk is the female lead the other female protagonists in current novels wish they could be, but can’t.

Netgalley and St. Martin’s Press have provided me with an advanced reader’s copy for my kindle in exchange for my honest review. I’ve never read a B.A. Paris book before, but so far I’m not that into it. The narrator is very unlikable, & I’m not enjoying the chapters in which he addresses his ex-girlfriend. I am very curious as to what actually happened to her, so I’m hoping it gets better. Thanks for the ARC!

Technically, I'm not currently reading this one at the moment, but I just won the kindle version and wanted to thank the author. As soon as I'm done with NOS4A2, I plan on diving into this one. Thanks to Goodreads for the free copy as well. I needed some good news! Much love!

Tudor is the British Stephen King! This reminds me of one of my favorite movies growing up, "Stand By Me" so much, and I love it!!
