literally yesterday i said in book club that i only give a book 30 pages to hook me and that i try not to torture myself when reading but that’s also not fully true cuz sometimes i pick something up and go mmmmmm well it’s EASY and it’ll go fast so let’s just see how bad it’ll get i guess?? cuz the thing is i recall liking this authors most recent book. but wow… ROUGH start omg
