i absolutely love apes but chapter 9 made me sad:(

this book is very obviously written by a man and i’m not a fan of that.

i was promised spooky content. said spooky content last five pages. jane austen really disappointed me :(

this is definitely my favorite austen novel so far! i love the way she introduces the characters and shows the differences between anne + everyone around her.

i forgot how much i love this book! it’s way easier to read than when i read it last year.
