I had been seasoned by adversity, and tutored by experience, and I longed to redeem my lost honour in the eyes of those whose opinion was more than that of all the world to me.

I think this is a horror but not sure... so far we have a somewhat jilted lover and regret. Also, it's set in Nigeria and the descriptions of food reminds me of the one Nigerian content creator who always does a "What I eat in a day".

These character are kinda juvenile. Good for bringing and easy read but the plot holes, really need to suspend reality 😂
