my asexual ass was not prepared for this one oops. also, I just started the SVU story, which I've heard is only widely hated because people don't get it but uh... I'm gonna wait until the end to cast judgement I guess...

the last 6 books i've read have been such struggles, so this is like a breath of fresh air at the moment

I want so badly to empathize with the eldest sister, but she's just so unlikeable at present.

Kind of struggling with this one, but relating to Irene hard.

I think I had too much faith in this one to make me like the romance genre because camp counselors and sapphic, but it's not good :(

I finally hate Arthur a little less, but like, barely

I was hoping I'd hate Arthur less at this point, but here we are

I cannot stand Arthur and Gwen is on THIN ice, but I love Gabe and Bridget

I am realizing now that I have definitely very much aged out of YA contemporary, especially with 16 & under main characters (being 22 will do that to you)

I swear throughout the first couple chapters of this every other sentence was a simile

Also, this and Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries feel like they were cut from the same cloth - if you liked EWEoF you’ll probably like this and vise versa
