I still like Ox, the main character, but not quite as much as in the beginning. The book kind of dragged for a while but it seems like it is picking up again, which is great since I’m feeling like I’m ready to move on from all the angst!

This book is fairly light and I don’t always agree with the two characters’ interpretations of the two cards pulled for each of their podcast episodes, but I like the idea of discussing two tarot cards together on a podcast.

Came back to this book after setting is aside for a long time to decide if I want to finish it. Read a few more chapters and decided to keep it on my list and finish it up. I forgot how relevant the concepts are to where I am with starting my own business and 2026 is the perfect time to read it. I haven’t done any of the journaling activities, but my goal is to read one time through and perhaps do those later.

Finished The Reluctant Queen last night and jumped right into this one today. I am really enjoying the series overall although I liked the first book a bit better than the second. I'm listening to the Audible version with the updated cover, but it's not available in the GR database and I am annoyed that I'm no longer allowed to add Kindle/Audible books even though I'm in the librarian group!

I’m enjoying the book for the most part although I’d like the pace to be faster. I want to find out what happened to Kelsey! There is a lot of shifting from the current timeline to different points in the past and back. I’ve found it easy to keep track of where we are but this format might not be for everyone.

The book has started to get more interesting although the pace is still a little slow. The chapters are short and the writing is interesting which has kept me going. I tried to listen to the audio version but the author narrates and I really wish they had gone with someone else as her voice is very breathy and makes it hard for me to pay attention!

It’s a cute book so far. Each chapter is a podcast episode between the two characters where they each draw a tarot card and talk about what the combination could mean. One mistake where they say the card is the Eight of Wands but describe the Eight of Swords - easy to figure out if you are familiar with tarot. One of the characters uses the Morgan Greer deck, which is a little different from RWS so that is nice.
