Update- I’m trying so hard to not DNF this book. I know the 80’s were a different time, I know all the characters have to have absolutely awful personalities at the beginning so they can grow into heros or at least less crappy humans, but I kind of hate every character so far 😅

Oh the 80’s! It’s been a minute since I read a fantasy from then. God forbid men appear “womanish” or shed a tear when their father dies. 😆
