I was trying to go in here with an open mind. It's not often you see books where the fmc is the sexually open one and he is a virgin. It's not done well. She's not likeable (or smart, they don't respect her) at all. I have no problem with her sex life except that she willingly sleeps with married men and doesn't feel that bad about it. Yes they made the vows but she could have drawn that one line and she didn't. Ew.

I just finished the original book. Honestly I felt so annoyed throughout this entire book up until maybe the last 15%. This girl did not deserve him, sorry. He waited for her so many times and when it was her turn, she couldn't do it. But she could cheat. The whole whiskey thing was so repetitive and obnoxious by the end. Ugh I need to see his side but I really don't want to see her hurt him all over again.

Whew! Chapter 34 though. 🥵 JFC that was hot.
