I’m having trouble figuring out how I feel about this. On the one hand, it’s a page turner, but on the other hand, I am finding the intense navel-gazing and nostalgia for events that happened 25 years ago rather insufferable.

This is difficult to read and the subject matter is distressing. Not sure I’m in the right headspace to read this book.

Fascinating character studies, but this is a pretty slow slog.

This is some beautiful prose. Some tough parts to wade through as a mother, but really hard to put down.
