I think I hate the audiobook and I am going to have to read it instead of listening.

Listening to the audiobook and excuse me, Joe Arden. 45% in and I've had to hold my breath at least half a dozen times.

This series is dark... not so much dark scary dark but dark emotionally dark.

Some.of the stuff I have read so far has shattered me into tiny pieces and then stuck me back together leaving scars.

Probably should have taken a break and read something light and fluffy but no, diving straight into book 4 with a whopping 532 pages....let's go.

Of course this is in my kindle the day of release!! Is this perhaps my 1st 5 star read of 2024? 45% more and I'll know... looking promising.
