I’m forcing myself to get through this because the plot is interesting, but his writing style is grating on my nerves. Not a fan.

Turned to the second page and realized this is another Wendell Berry re-read for me, but it’s so damn good I just don’t care. I’ll re-read it every year for the rest of my life before I get sick of it.

Identical story structure to “Maybe in Another Life” which I happened to read a few weeks ago. It’s an interesting format, but feels somewhat predictable.

I usually feel embarrassed to admit I devoted any time at all to reading a rom-com, but this one has such funny and smart heroine.

Book Club Session 1 was about the first three chapters— I felt like I kept talking about Sitting Pretty the entire time, oops.

Not my cup of tea TBH, so I paused reading it to read Strout instead.

Newest Book Club pick!

I thought this was going to be lame (a la “I Kissed Dating Goodbye” forever ago) but it was refreshing and honest- I would have enjoyed more detail at the end, about how he and his wife worked through their junk once she moved back in. Could honestly skip ahead to the last chapter and just read that.

Re-reading an oldie but a goodie.
