Not really enjoying this book so far, but I’m gonna finish it. None of the characters are interesting, no one stands out. Very limited details. Every time I go back to read a chapter, I dread it. To be continued..

Really very good! I picture the killer in my mind with every word, and he’s frightening.

Really very good so far. I’ve had this book in my Kindle for a while, and it’s very interesting. Not one of my lighter little cozy mysteries that I enjoy reading, more realistic details of a murder case. Definitely enjoyable.

So far this is good, but I’m not into the constant baking recipes at the end of every chapter. I flip right through them!!! Otherwise, enjoying book.

Only on page fifty-two and I am already digging this book. Happy feet!

This book is pretty good, with the exception of one of the main characters, the daughter Jade. What a witch she is, really. If she were my daughter, I’d stay far away! Can’t stand reading her parts in the book! Why write such an unlikeable character? If they were to kill her off, I’d be happy. Other than this Jade, I’m liking the book enough.

So far... I'm not a fan. Nothing has made me say, "these stories are fantastic". Nothing. Actually, I'm very disappointed with every single story that I've read. I managed to read eight of them so far, but I'm really dissatisfied. Hopefully, there will be at least one or two good ones as I continue to try and get through this book of short stories. It's not easy.

Sorry, life has been getting in the way of my reading! But so far, I do like this book. Well written, and interesting details, but I keep getting lost, probably because my reading keeps getting interupted. But it's easy enough to get caught up, and I like the characters. Hopefully I can finish this book before the end of next week.

Page 25, but I’m quitting this one. It’s boring. Nothing happening, and the worst for me are the boring characters. I can’t continue!!!

It's a good read so far!

Cute story so far, and I like the way it's flowing so far.

Just started reading this, and its good so far!

At the beginning, I didn't like that each chapter started with a name of a character, the date, and even the time of the event that was taking place, but now it doesn't matter. I mean, I still don't like it, but I understand why the author did it that way. It's just not my preference. Besides that, the story is good enough that I'll keep reading, but so far, it's only what I'd consider to be a "cute" read.

So far, I'm not at all disappointed! Love reading all the carefully written detailed descriptions. Koontz's always makes me feel what each character is feeling, and sometimes it's a bit dark, but I like that emotion sometimes.

Well...

Just started this book and it had a cute beginning. Someone has just killed over by what appears to be a poisoned piece of fruitcake. That's just chapter one!

So far, I'm not disappointed, which isn't a surprise as Koontz is one of my favorite authors. Like so far!
