Maybe "victims" was too strong a word - maybe "predictable" is better. The quote that I am referring to "...g-d bless women, curious, mysterious creatures, "mutating" from one mood to another". As if our moods sum up our entire being. And that men who don't display such emotion are the stronger/better/smarter sex. Yet, if men had women all figured out - why would a majority of them continue to do such heinous things.

So, I attempted to comment earlier - how I found this book somewhat "disturbing". I had read "You" back in Feb. and couldn't remember how it ended. I see that it's now a series on Lifetime. What troubles me are the thoughts of the main character which is male. The author is female. I can't decide if she writes men very well or if she has little to no regard/respect for women and thinks that we are all "victims".

Chapter "7" was even more "disturbing" than the previous "6" chapters... Not sure if I'm going to be able to get through this book...(:

Have only read up to chapter 7...kind of creepy so far... and the story hasn't really taken off yet...

This is the first book that I've found "disturbing" as I was reading it. And although I am intrigued as well as curious to see how it ends - I'm not sure if I can continue.

The main characters plight is troublesome and I hope that she triumphs in the end.

I wonder if this will become a motion picture.

"Behind Closed Doors" makes books like "Gone Girl" pale in comparison.

I'm only on page "2" and am already drawn in just by the mere mention of one of my most favorite places in the whole world - "Mohonk Mountain House" up in New Paltz, NY.

I must admit that I agree with the main character of the book - that the setting is the most beautiful and ideal let alone romantic for a wedding..:)

Am really enjoying The Final Cut by Catherine Coulter...it's been way to long since I've read one of her books.

Already can tell that I'm not going to enjoy this book as much as I could/would have if it were written by am American author because it appears to be written by a British author - might as well be written in Japanese.

Ugh! I'm having so much trouble getting through this book. It's written by a British author - which I've read before - not this author but the book "One Fine Day" was written by a British author and I don't remember having so much trouble getting through it - Besides the language barrier - I'm not familiar with any locations - it might have been written about Mars!

Looking forward to reading "Her Mother's Shaadow" - the 3rd book in the Kiss River trilogy...

I should have known what I was getting into before I even started reading this book. There are "6" in the "Sweet" series & I didn't know before I read the 1st one that they were supposed to be read in any particular order. I've read 2 and am in the middle of the 3rd and am truly disappointed.

I'm just hoping that the other series by this author that includes the book "Fever" and "Rush" is better then this...

Looking forward to reading another great novel by Luanne Rice. Have read a couple and have not been disappointed yet.

This will be the 2nd book by Katrina Kittle that I've read - the 1st was "The Kindess of Strangers" which I enjoyed very much.

Have finished reading "Secret Star" which was the final book of a trilogy. I was able to follow along even though I hadn't read the first "2" books in the series.

For some reason this book seems "eerily" familiar. I'm thinking that I may have read it before but it doesn't come up on my list of read books...

Just started reading "The Storyteller" by Jodi Picoult and can already tell that I'm going to love it.

This 1st book of the Night Tales series consists of "Night Shift" and "Night Shadows". Have finished Night Shift and thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to Night Shadows.

This is the 3rd book that I've read by Jennifer McMahon and I'm thoroughly enjoying it and can't wait to read others.

As I'm reading this book seems somewhat familiar...Not sure how it happened but I finally figured out that I've already read this book back in 2011. I guess since I've already read over 100 pages all I can do is continue reading.
