this was so fun to reread for the first time since 9th grade. I love a good character arc where a girl is developing her own voice and internal sense of self while also navigating a steamy romance plus overall systemic governmental issues

- I’m truthfully not a fan of Magos at all. I wanted to be and tried so hard (even from the first chapter….when she…) to give her the benefit of the doubt, but damn I cannot get behind her.
- Lena rules and I am glad she’s doing something for herself. I just finished her section of the book, and I’m sad to see her POV go.
- Feeling v sad for Monstrilio right now :(
