time for a reread :) i just had to after enjoying ogawa’s the housekeeper and the professor!

“Well that was positively the most intelligent and useful thing Lestat ever said in my presence, and it brought me around at once.” These sassy one-liners are too good.

“Lestat said something blasphemous and gave him the rosary” this got me cracking up 😂

Catherine Linton is the biggest drama queen in this book. Literally acts like a toddler. ‘If I can’t have my way then I will intentionally make myself sick so people will feel bad for me and grovel.’ What a fascinatingly horrible little narcissist.

I can’t quite describe its style.
