Stalker much? Ok, in the end, this guy realizes he went about it wrong. But it is an A1 story to help with Spanish, so it served that purpose.

Leon Fairley is finished with The Witch King (Witch King #1)
Trans, non-binary, gay, hetero... they are all here, and reading this can be a bit of a trip on the pronouns. Probably good practice for everyone.

Fae, Witches, and even humans make a rare appearance. There is a decent high-fantasy element in this story as well as all the human relationship ills that plague us translated into this world. There is also a very slight touche on political systems as well.

Leon Fairley is 33% done with Dune (Dune #1)
Pretty much what I remember. The world Frank Herbert created is rich and entertaining. The characters are detailed and easy to love or hate. You look forward to watching the story unfold.

Leon Fairley is 66% done with The Kat Dubois Chronicles: Books 1-3
Finished the second book (Outcast) in the trilogy. Next up, Underground. The stories are light and entertaining reading. The chapters are pretty short making them easy to digest if you only have a small chunk of time. Still liking the Egyptian pantheon (even though this is about descendants not the originals).

Leon Fairley is on page 130 of 816 of Sapiens and Homo Deus: The E-book Collection: A Brief History of Humankind and A Brief History of Tomorrow
it is quite interesting. The author goes to a great deal of effort to explain the fact and the competing but confirmed theories of Homo sapiens rise versus the other human species. The sections about whether we have domesticated crops or have been domesticated by them was fascinating reading as well.
