Ok well there’s other narrators too so I’m getting through it.

OMG, I’m not sure I can stand this narrator 😵‍💫

I’m worried this isn’t going to give me the ending. I’m hoping for, and it’ll all feel unresolved.

So far, my least favorite Kristin Hannah I’ve read. The writing isn’t great? And how many more times do we need to hear, “this is Alaska.” ?

Despite some awful shit happening, it’s somehow so wholesome and endearing.

I’m not sure if the author is kinda dumb or her editor thinks we are, but either way it makes for less compelling reading.

It’s 1994 and you want to research a topic and you go to Borders? Why not the library?
