I realise now the problem I have with her writing - nothing is to be thought about. Everything is laid out before you. Which is fine if you want a super easy read. But very frustrating if you’re reading it in one sitting and sick of seeing the same thing repeated.

I love the first book, despise the second and was hopeful for the third but it’s starting to get repetitive (my main problem with #2) and that’s bumming me out.

Every chapter ends on some thought provoking statement. “And that was the end of the world as we knew it”, “looking after me like he had been doing all our relationship”

I just imagine someone standing staring into the distance saying it. Which is, of course, how the author leads to the next chapter but it’s TOO MUCH
