bit slow and boring for a childrens book..........hopefully it speeds up soon

the last third of the book is quite useless...there's been a plethora of new people introduced and too many timelines in the space of 3 chapters.

this last third feels a bit rushed and also half of it is simply not needed. in the space of half a page, someone has died, someone's broken a foot, and there's been a funeral?

good stuff. i like the pace the book is written at. although, im confused on what possible ending this book could have.......

im quite enjoying the historical aspect of the book. its obviously well researched. good stuff so far

Hmm ponder ponder….the way women are referenced or even described is quite stark but I think it also shows his deep confliction and self hatred
So far very good

Kind of a slow start for me….but we’ll see
