Pancakes is still one of my favourites for Hellboy in general, The Midnight Circus is quality and Duncan Fegredo’s artwork is sublime.

Just finished the first issue, Mike Mignola’s style here is refined what we know and love, a little rough compared to current Mignola but the art is stunning, John Byrne write the first series and his writing is fantastic here.

So far I am loving Baltimore, it’s creepy tone and beautiful artwork by Ben Stenbeck makes it a fitting piece of the Mignola mythos. World War 1 had just finished due to the plague and undead vampires turning the tides of war. Lord Baltimore is after a powerful ancient vampire to seek revenge.
