This book isn’t what I expected but really interesting nonetheless. I love hearing about the spirit world all around us.

The audiobook reader’s man voice is CRINGE!!! I hope I can make it through without laughing. It’s soooo cheesy.

This is an almost 9 hour audiobook and I am halfway through through after day one! It gripped me from the beginning. At first, I was very uncomfortable because of what I’ve been taught in society. However, as I’ve continued listening to the book, I’ve become aware of why I’m uncomfortable with certain aspects of society concerning coddling childhood “trauma.” I can’t wait to review this book!

Kemper seems to be apologizing for a bunch of semi embarrassing experiences that may have made her look bad i.e. asking a waiter to get his manager because she got the wrong food and was hangry. I would have much preferred hearing her life stories and what she values in her life. Some of her other stories seem like she’s trying to be funny, but I can’t tell if she’s joking or not.

The first didn’t rank high for me but it’s intriguing enough that now I’m reading the second! This poor kid can’t catch a break! Someone chain him to his home!! And umm the excuse “he heard somewhere” followed by all the information he needs to survive is getting old. This kid is fourteen, how can he know all these things and not be familiar with wilderness survival?!

In the first part of the book, I learned many entrepreneurs are dyslexic and read multiple books at once. This information along with other things Hays said are already resonating with me! I can tell I’m going to like this book. :-)

I’m almost 9 hours into this book and only a little over halfway done and I’m so glad it’s not close to the end! There hasn’t been a moment that has bored me in this book. I’m loving the behind the scenes look at the movies I grew up with, and the actress I love!

I have to return this book to the library because others are waiting but once I get it back I’ll finish it. It’s a fantastic book but requires a fresh mind because it’s deeply philosophical.

In the movie she’s playing the light game with the cat and I thought “what a random scene” but in the book there’s lots surrounding the game so it’s not random after all! I’m loving all these details including the backstory to the Hanging Tree song!

Mad respect for Megan telling Prince Harry she would not tolerate being treated harshly and wouldn’t allow her kids to see their parents treat each other that way either. I hope he’s stayed true to that.

I wouldn’t say there’s anything overly remarkable about Harry and Megan’s meeting for the first time, but the way he talks about her is the cutest thing and makes their story so much more special! You can tell she’s his queen… pun intended ;-)

Interesting look into Prince Harry’s childhood so far. A recurring theme is that he’s the “spare” in life to which I can definitely relate! 😆 I’m sure if I followed the royal family or was old enough to remember when Princess Diana was alive, this book would hit different but from someone just reading out of “why the heck not?” I’m enjoying it. 🙂

I’m really enjoying this book. It starts off with a story of mothers sharing their occupation as “just a mom” but why “just”? As a mother, I feel no job is as significant nor as challenging as that of a mother doing her best. There’s also no job which brings me more joy! This is a great read so far!

I’m not sure about this book… at first it was political which I don’t necessarily mind but find obnoxious since I didn’t pick up this book for politics. I’ve reached the part of the book where babies are described as narcissistic because they require so much attention and care. Really? A baby is narcissistic? Can’t a baby be helpless like everyone is when they entered this world?
