Really enjoying the characters and the quick pacing so far. This is my first book by Joe Abercrombie, and I can see why people praise his dialogue and character work so much.

“Since their creation of us, we have been at the mercy of their tyrannical rule. They have suppressed, stolen from, and murdered us. I will now free us all from Zeus’s lecherous grasp and Hera’s spite. We need no longer bow and scrape to their selfish siblings, no more sacrifices of our children to appease their unruly children’s whims.”

Feels like the book is finally heating up 👏🏾
