Some of the stories have gotten interesting. Im still learning a lot of things, but still struggling to remain focused.

Honestly, I'm struggling to enjoy this. I typically don't mind stories like this but i cant decide if there is too much description or if i think the description is wonderful. What's adding to the struggle is the Indian words that I am unfamiliar with. So I've learned a lot of things from reading this book, but i do think it is slightly taking away from my ability to immerse myself in it.

So far this book has brought me to the verge of tears and given me chills. I am really enjoying this. I do wonder how I would feel if I was physically reading this rather than listening, though I dont think I would feel much different. This was very clearly so well researched and the writing is beautiful.

IDK how im feeling about this. This genre isnt something i normally read, so at this point in the book i feel like its just dragging on. I want to get to the point. There has been a little build up. we are learning the back story that gives the plot its context but its just feeling really slow for me.
