Y'all ever read a book you haven't read in a long long time and realize you completely forgot about one of the two primary characters 💀

Haven't read this book in FOREVER and boy howdy did that really show when they introduced weird vaguely psychic bear monsters in the prologue and I went "..... theres monsters in these books?"
Anyway, I'm having a great time reliving my childhood 😌✌️

I'm not super jazzed with a lot of the portrayals of women in this book so far but I'm not sure if it's going to culminate in the book making a point about societal issues or if the author is just misogynistic :/
