When I read the synopsis, I was like "this sounds like devil wears Prada fanfiction". You can imagine my surprise when I google it, and it, in fact was devil wears Prada fanfiction.

How can I say this without spoilers?
I understand what Lewis is and what he represents. Still don't give a shit!!

SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT YOUR AFFAIR WITH LEWIS. I DO NOT CARE!!!

Im kind of annoyed with this already, the narrator will not stop talking about her ex husband OR the affair she had with Lewis, I do not give a shit about your ex husband and I definitely do not give a shit about Lewis 🙄

Oh my god, please shut the fuck up about Lewis. I genuinely do not care 🙄

On quite the pirate kick right now, so am very excited about this one 😀

Re-reading this now that I have the sequel

I might not finish this, I'm just so lost
The language is so unnecessarily convoluted.
The characters' motivations make no sense.
Mikuta keeps repeating "dear readers," and it's making me nuts.
I have not left a book dnf in ages, and I really don't want to start now...

Hmm 😒

I'm so hyped

Re-reading this one because I got my hands on girls of storm and shadow after so long

I was very conflicted about it, the constant switching of perspectives was quite confusing after a while. The Characters where hard to connect to.
