book’s great so far, but everything about how people talk about it honestly confuses me because they keep describing it like it was some kind of heartbreaking forbidden romance when it’s really a look into the psyche of a pedophile and his obsession with a little girl and the abuse that eventually follows, nothing about that should be erotic or has anything to do with actual love
