Dense

Taking a break with some light reading. Wondering if Carson would have changed his views on the Beatitudes 50 years later. His views are a little outdated, a little too traditionally evangelical.

Still a fantastic book. Finally to the last section, one hundred pages packed full with synthesis. Pure theology here, both theoretical and practical, very little painstaking exegetical work from here on out. A nice change in pace.

Oh man… some things hit deep in the Galatians study…

Onward to the Spirit in Galatians. Fantastic section on 2 Corinthians. From a TextCrit perspective, he believes that 2 Cor 10-13 is a separate letter from 2 Cor 1-9. I’d never heard that view before.
