Dakota’s crass language is over the top for my likeness. She could be toned down and still get the point across.

I’m enjoying the book so far! It is simple writing and that is just what I was looking for!! It’s hitting close to home as well as a lover of dark Christmas decor and the beginning stages of building a market stand.

The first two chapters are amazing speaking of the lies Satan tell us about ourselves and the types of lies: half-truths, omission, boldface, etc.

She asks us to identify what lies we are believing right now and is vulnerable in sharing her own.

I am in love with the darker take on “monsters” to face in a childhood adventure. The conflict in Peter’s character keeps the reader questioning to love, hate, or sympathize for such a being.
