i’ve noticed cressida is a popular name for a villain 😅

i dnf’d the previous book but i saw this at the library and thought maybe i’ll read the happy ending ahahha

okay i’m so intrigued where this can go… also is this the last book? i don’t know if it’ll wrap up here.

okay i didn’t see that plot twist coming

ngl reading the sequel so long after the first book has me struggling to remember what happened and who characters are. it’s actually so bad for me cause i don’t have good memory 😅 but sometimes stuff happens and then i’m like “oh, that’s right”

i do left interested in the characters and story, even if many of the characters get on my nerves ahahha, but this author has got to be slowest paced writer ever. it’s like a lot slowly happens and then i’m reminded it’s the same day.

this didn’t really go where i thought. i feels quite mythology heavy focusing on the gods.

lucy is my fave. best character in this universe🩷

back to this series. one of my fave authors.

okay some interesting stuff could be happening…

i don’t know exactly why but reading this sequel doesn’t exactly feel the same as it did when i read the first and second books. i still find the story entertaining and the characters too but i can’t quite put my finger on what is lacking to me. i still would say im liking it but maybe it’s cause its the next fantasy ive read after mother of dawn and death and violet & xaden will never be max and tisanaah.

well i actually did reorganise my shelves a lot because im a bit unwell so had some time to waste ahhaha

hmm i think i’ll DNF like the characters are just annoying 😭

i feel like my goodreads is so messy. i need to redo all my shelves and sort out what i actually want to read but who has time for that & this app is so annoying sometimes.

this series is truly so good. the way this author makes me love characters on opposing sides and i feel so many mixed feelings about everything.
