halfway through and they're yet to reunite im sooo gonna throw up

justice for ali or i'll spawn inside the book myself ! and i giggled when i saw we'd be getting dara's pov this time like IVE BEEN SAAAYING!!! i'm so ready to #CRY

stepping outside my comfort zone for this one.

flashbacks of jon snow's come back 😭 icbbb

red wedding flashbacks

this book has huuuge potential but the pace is sooo painfully slow 😭 i've been in the same chapter since i was 7 years old like C'MON MAN

"Why will you not look at me?”
“Because every time I do, it makes me want to live so badly I can hardly breathe.”"

i'm utterly ruined.

im so gonna throw up

the holy trio grief, love, and books

well i'd be damned

“The word home evoked only the sweet green smell of the woods, long gone, and sometimes another word: Yew, I thought, or perhaps you.”

I'm so finished.
This is one of the most beautifully written books i've ever came across. It's so poetic I'm awestruck.

this book is going to save me

giggling and kicking my feet. after 600 pages..he became hers <<33

anyhow I'm terrified as shit now, things are escalating and becoming increasingly serious. i hate BOTH sides of this war (i couldn't care less abt the eternal flame) i just want my babies to stop suffering bc of other people's greed for power

470 pages in and i only like 2 characters, everyone else is pissing me off in ways i never knew possible

war, torture, and greed meet a faint, slow-burning spark of romance. i'm so not ready to see how it'll get

there's a twinge of pain in almost every chapter.... my poor helena and kaine i will always protect u

chapters 18 to 21 were written in hell.... my poor sweet helena.. i'm finally done with part 1 but i just know that this book is going to wreck me

125 pages is equivalent to 12% only what if i kms rn (i'm loving this book so far)

my gorgeous babiesss their bond is beyond beautiful & it's so heartwarming seeing their interactions as a family 😭🫶🏽 the undying love & romance are killing me i missed them

Men who worship the ground their wives walk on>>>

“and Aris knew that once his wife had made up her mind, there would be no changing it. Aris tied her hair back with his threads, knowing she’d sooner allow it to singe away than lose this game.”

Aris remains to be my favvvv character <3 (loves his wife, charismatic, AND funny!!!!)

“He adjusted his gloves, triple-checking them before setting his hand atop Blythe’s head and ruffling her hair. “No. But I intend to try.”

THEYRE SO CUTE I MISSED THEM 😭

it's giving beauty & the beast 😭

i absolutely love Chrysantha <3 and i'm curious to learn more about Eryx, he's growing on me (but my fav male character is hands-down still the shadow king)
